I did my undergraduate studies in Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay between 1992-96.  In the fall of 1996, I joined the graduate program at Department of Computer Science, Rutgers University. I finished my PhD under Professor Endre Szemerédi in the fall of 2001. Since then, I am working with Tata Research Development and Design Centre, a research unit of Tata Consultancy Services, as a research scientist. 

Research Interests

My interests are in theoretical computer science. I am broadly interested in the design and analysis of algorithms, with an emphasis on on-line algorithms and approximation algorithms for NP-hard problems.
