Sofus' Martial Arts PageI do not really have the time to keep this up to date, so I haven't had a chance to go out and find new good links. If you know of any, please send them my way. Thank you. I've found it hard to not only find a good place but more importantly, to have time to practice there since most places seem to practice in the evening, when I have classes, but I try to keep up on my own when I don't have time to go to a club. Right now I do Tai-Chi (Wu-style), and some kung-fu, though I'm just a beginner in both. I've also had previous training in Shotokan Karate and Jui-Jitsu, and one of my worst mistakes, IMHO, was to stop (which I did around the age of 14). I know about most martial arts, and can carry a discussion about pros and cons for many of them... and in the end they really are all the same. This silly squabbling about "my art is better than yours" is just plain ridiculous. In the end, the most important thing is for each individual to find a teacher that he or she likes. Everything else is a distant second. IMHO, of course. NOTE: I have had requests for adding banners and re-selling equipment for a commission. This is not a commercially oriented site. I keep this list solely on my own to help others, not for profit. Currently I am only updating this page per request. Mail me at sofmac@gmail.com if you'd like me to add a link to this page.
